With 18 years experience in the Real Estate industry, I am enthusiastic about serving the public of Newfoundland and Labrador in their Real Estate matters. I started my career off with a Business Administration diploma at CNA. From there I was instantly hired by an amazing Real Estate company as a receptionist. As time went by, I gradually went up the scale to Administrator, then to deals coordinator and finally an unlicensed Realtors assist for 3 Prestegeous Real Estate Agents. As time went on I felt I needed a change, the Realtors I worked for saw potential in me even though I may have doubted myself. Given the career choices I have made I found myself with the knowledge, intuition, and drive to further educate myself as a full time Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. Thankfully, I took the plunge and here I am, 8 years later as an elite award winning Realtor and looking forward to whats to come.
I have other endeavours that keep me busy as well, Volunteering is my favourite past time, maybe I am a little selfish in saying it gives me a feeling of joy when I am needed. A few functions I have volunteered with are the Daffodil Place Gala in 2008, Ronald McDonald House in 2010, Annual Food Drives, Run for the Cure several years in a row, The Janeway Telethon, The HOPE Program, The Iris Kirby House and The Clothesline of The Diabetes Association, Just to name a few. Another Extra curricular activity I enjoy would be exercising. Just the escape alone from the world when I run makes me feel alive and helps my brain think more clearly when I am working on a sale or listing contract.
Another strong atribute I have is I always believed that I have to adapt to change not only for my clients, but for my own growth as a person so I can better serve the public and to show a positive side of Real Estate with a smile :). Charles Darwin once said “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, it is the one that adapts successfully to change.”
